The information in this section is meant to showcase examples of the skills, knowledge, and experience that I have amassed. These can be skills learned through education, work, or life in general. However, I intended these skills to have a professional focus and exclude hobbies and leisure activities.

I have broken down this section into seven core areas, splitting them between academic knowledge and business experience. I designed each bullet to follow the format of “I have skills/knowledge/experience/proficiency with…”.

Skills & Knowledge

Planning & Strategy

I consider planning and strategy to mean building a roadmap to reach short, medium, and long-term goals for a business or business unit. In simplest terms, it identifies what to do and why, then determines who, how, and when to implement it. Read more...

Processes & Systems

The essence of my skills in processes & systems is centered around designing and building tangible systems, processes, and integrations based on the needs of the business. While perception matters in every industry, it matters more in some than in others. Every business needs to have an identity, and proper marketing and branding convey that identity to the customer. Human Resources & Administration

I like to think of human resources and administration as being two sides of the same coin. Both of these functions serve to maximize every organization’s most valuable asset: its people. While both work towards the same goal, there can be very different approaches and perspectives when attempting to bring value to both the people and the business. Read more...

Legal & Corporate Structure

These two skills are ones that are generally left to attorneys. Still, internal stakeholders having a proper grasp on these is imperative for a business to survive. The legal structure of a company is generally thought through more in the beginning days before being put in maintenance mode, for better or for worse. Read more...
