Site Overview
About
“Who I am and what I’ve done.”
This section is the easiest to describe. It is effectively just a bit of biographical information coupled with some of my experiences and journey. It should shed light on who I am, my education, and some of my past work experiences. It also shows gives a description of the ideal role for me.
Articles
"What I think about (insert topic)."
I intend to use this section as an outlet to voice my thoughts on various matters, most likely relating to general business topics or life conundrums. How frequently I add to this will largely depend on how busy I am in the real world at any given time.
Assets
“What I offer.”
I got a little bit creative naming this section, but I think it fits. You can think of this as being what I have to offer, particularly in a professional setting. Or if we want a quick definition, a useful or valuable thing, person, or quality. Look here for my skills, strengths, and other abilities.
Philosophy
“How I think and what guides me.”
I want to utilize this section to show more about my outlook and thoughts on life that apply to both business and personal pursuits. It will likely include my core values, favorite quotes, and maybe even a few musings on religion or the universe.
Smitty
“What I did this weekend.”
I will use this section to display the more personal parts of my life; stuff like travel, adventures, and life updates. Smitty is the “weekend Masen.” I might even end up making it a standalone site. If you think of this website as a mullet, this is the “party in the back” section.

Site Goals
This website aims to share as much as possible about myself and my story to people who may not otherwise know me. Therefore, I wanted to provide a lot of depth with as little clutter as possible. This website is an effort that was made by wading through complexity to reach simplicity. That process was especially involved when it required me to boil down and cut through things about myself and my own life.
While this website significantly emphasizes my professional life, as that is its most salient use case, I have made great efforts not to have it be an online resume. While it ideally answers many of the same questions that a resume might, I sincerely hope this website provides much greater insight into who I am than some buzzwords and my undergrad GPA being thrown on a piece of paper would.
